Overview & Features of Inox 321
Type 321 is a kind of Ni-Cr-Ti austenitic stainless steel, with good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, creep resistance, etc. The good wear resistance of 321 stainless steel is manifested in organic acids and inorganic acids of different concentrations and different temperatures, especially in oxidizing media. Meanwhile, grade 321 is also a refractory steel with better high temperature resistance than 316L. Its performance is very similar to that of 304; but since Ti is added as the stabilizing element, 321 stainless steel features better high temperature strength and intergranular corrosion resistance, and it can effectively control the formation of chromium carbide as a result.
321 stainless steel features excellent high temperature stress rupture performance and high temperature creep resistance. Its stress mechanical properties are better than 304 stainless steel, suitable for welding components used under high temperatures.
321 Applications
